I’ve been trying to get fitter, stronger and to increase my muscle mass since May 2014. It’s been over seven months since then and I know my body’s changed. I feel stronger, I’m the smallest and lightest I’ve ever been. So I know what I’m doing is working! I’m definitely making progress towards my health and fitness goals.
One of the problems I do have is I sometimes forgot how far I’ve actually come since I started on this journey. I did keep a regular record when I had my personal trainer, but after the two months I didn’t follow through as well as I should have done with my record keeping. It then becomes very difficult to see if you’re making progress or not.
At the moment I feel as though I’ve reached a plateau and on top of that I haven’t been that good over the Christmas Period!
The 1st of January is the new starting line and a chance to take stock and to see where I am. This will be my benchmark for the year ahead.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next 365 days as I’ll be able to do a comparison between how I look now with how I’ll look on the 1st January 2016.
