Around Thredbo there are another five alternative walks you can do. These walks all begin at Valley Terminal at the base of the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift and according to the guide are relatively easy.
If you have the time this is a great way to loosen up and acclimatise for the longer walks at a higher altitude.
