The Benefits of Epsom Salts

As you guys know I love my training, especially weightlifting. But I do suffer from aches after working out and really suffer with DOMS - Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness which is not very nice!!

A friend mentioned that I should try Epsom Salts and having a good long soak in the bath. I though why not! Lets give them ago and see what happens.…

How to use

Pour 1 cup of the Epsom Salts into a hot bath and soak for at least 20 mins.

Stand up and rinse off in cold water.


Promotes relaxation

Reduce inflammation

Ease muscular aches and pains

Promotes healthy sleep patterns

Soften and soothe skin

Help flush toxins from the body

Boost magnesium levels

This is a lovely part of training, stepping into a hot bath and letting myself relax and enjoy the next 20 or sometimes 30 mins!

I would recommend everyone does this at least once a week. Even if you don’t want to use the Epsom Salts, go and take a bath and spend some quality time alone to relax and recharge your batteries!
