What's your pre-run breakfast?

I’m in the process of training my body to burn fat and one of the quickest ways to do this is to not eat breakfast before you run, which is what I do. Everybody has about 90 mins of glycogen, therefore it’s ok to exercise on an empty stomach in the morning.

You need to give any food you do eat about forty five minutes to digest before you start running. To be honest, your body will do much better, if you get an extra forty five minutes sleep instead of getting up extra early to eat breakfast before you start.

If you do have to eat before you go, or you want to eat before you run, go for something simple and low fibre. If its high carbohydrate it will also be digested a lot quicker. So you could have jam on white bread for example.
