11th November - Ovacık to Kabak, 18.4km
🥾First official day on the Lycian Way - we were staying about a 5 min walk from the trail head gate. After an interesting breakfast (you’ll have to watch my Instagram stories 😂😂) it was start time!
⛰ The first section was very rocky and lots of uphill climbing the trail narrows as it hugs the mountainside.
But the views.... stunning, just amazing! Looking down over the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and back down at the town of Ölüdeniz.
The ground is very rocky and can be quite tricky going, especially over the spree, the ascents and descents are quite steep! There was a little road walking, but not much!
☀️ The weather has been fantastic and we’re making the most of it! Apparently there is going to be rain in a few days!
👉 5hrs 20 mins - 12.6 miles
🎥 I am filming every day and there will be daily vlogs coming out when I’m back in December. If you search for tough girl challenges on YouTube (link also in bio) you can continue to watch the vlogs from the Camino Portugués which are coming out until the end of November 😀 - new vlogs are coming out every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

We used the Komoot App while hiking.
We uploaded the GPX tracks to Komoot and used this to help with navigation. The Komoot app also tracks us, and provides a lot of information such as distance covered, elevation gain and loss, there is also voice directions which you can turn on. Mine was called Bob…. (don’t know why!)
*The Komoot App was gifted and we also received sponsorship for this hike.
All of the tracks from the 23 day hike have been recorded on Komoot.
