⭐️Highlights: nice descent down to Gabas, in the shade 🙏 The climb up to HOURQUETTE
•D’ARRE Alt. 2465m was spectacular!
🏔️Challenges: the final 300m was a killer. The back of my ankles were killing, from being at a 45 degree angle for so long.
Camping being surrounded by cow poo and cows! It can be quite scary when you’re in your tent trying to sleep and you can hear all the bells around you.
💭Thoughts: what another epic day! They keep on coming!

⭐️Highlights: started the day with a lie in then some yoga/stretching! Quite a gentle day today only two climbs, but in the grand scheme of things they were quite small the highest being 1799 m and then the second highest being 1525m
🏔️Challenges: I’m bit annoyed about paying €17 for the camping as it is about a 10 minute walk out of town what’s even more annoying as they didn’t tell me that they turned the Internet off at 9 o’clock and doesn’t come on till 7 am tomorrow morning, which is a little bit frustrating when you want to do some planning and Research, but it is what it is.
💭Thoughts: thinking about it now I wish I just got some food on the way through and carried on walking and found somewhere to wild camp. The main reason for paying the camping is to get the Wi-Fi!

🏔️Challenges: finding some where to camp was a nightmare. Got turned away from 1 campsite and found another. No one on reception. So asked 3 French guys if I could set up by tent next to them which they were cool about!
💭Thoughts: should I pop the blister on my right big toe? Or just let it do its thing?!

I had to get out to put the pegs back in trying to keep everything dry. I’m just waiting for it to pass - can’t remember a time it’s been this bad. Thank goodness, I’m not in the mountains. ⛰️ this is scary.
💭Thoughts: thank goodness I stopped walking when I did.
