The Marathon des Sables for 2016 starts today - Sunday 10th April.
If you want to send me some words of encouragement via e-mail or track me via GPS in real time that would be awesome.
To do this you need to head over to the organisers website.
You should be aware, however, that the tracker may lose signal or have battery power issues. This is usually a short term issue and should not be a concern for anyone following the race
