Book your tours well in advance as they can get booked up really quickly.
It sounds obvious but drink lots of water while you’re out walking. The temperatures can be extreme! You won’t realise how much you’ll be sweating during the day. They recommend about 1 litre every hour.
Don’t take anything from the National Park, this includes stones, flowers, leaves etc – it will cost you $1,000 if you get caught.
There are lots of free activities you can take advantage off - Indigenous performances, art markets, bush yarns etc.
Walk the base, its a nice easy walk which takes about 3.5 hours.
Have dinner under the stars at "Sounds of Silence"
Wifi is best on the buses - its not to good throughout the rest of the resort!
On the walks always wear a cap and a high factor sunscreen
If flies bother you, take a fly net to wear over your face.

If you can afford to do a helicopter flight its well worth it – it’s a once in a lifetime experience.
