I've started training with Jack Clover to give myself the best possible chance at completing the Marathon des Sables in 2016 and remaining fit and healthy while I do the training for it.
I’m doing a 12 week program with Jack, we’re going to have one on one sessions each week and I’m also going to follow a specific program he’s written for me, which I’ll also do once a week. On top of that I will do one boxing session and one general training session, but I may mix this up. So the goal is to train 4 times a week, and to ensure I get enough rest in between.
Jack did all the tests and this my starting point.
I’m very clear on my goals and what I want to achieve. The big overall goal is obviously the Marathon des Sables and building up strength for that, followed by a few smaller more specific goals.

Decrease body fat. I’m 18% at the moment, but I’m not sure how low I want it to get. I want to be as lean as possible so I’m not carrying any excess weight.
