Melissa Urie - First women to complete UberMan. Ultra-Triathlon - A 21-mile swim, 400-mile bike ride followed by a 135 mile run through Death Valley!


Melissa has completed the Epic 5 in Hawaii, 3 Ultraman triathlons, and is now the 1st female to have ever completed the Uberman, which she did in October - she also broke the swim record and smashed the previous course record by approximately 31 hours!

Kristina Palten - Swedish ultra-runner who ran alone through Iran to overcome fears and prejudice. A 1,144 mile journey of Trust.


In 2015, Kristina took it upon herself to challenge her own personal fears and prejudices. Kristina made the decision to run alone across Iran, a distance of 1,840 kilometres. Kristina, became the first women to have run across Iran. She was running an average of 37 kilometres per day. She started in Bazargan by the Turkish border and finished in Bajgiran on the north-eastern border, the run took her 59 days to complete.

We catch up with Mimi and find out what’s she’s been up to since 2016. We talk in detail about her dream of running across America, we talk about fears and failure and having to let go of running and try new sports.

Audrey McIntosh - 56, Her Global Odyssey, 100km non-stop in each of the World’s Continents!


"In 2015, I completed the North Pole Marathon and became the first Scot to complete all 3 polar races. I also added the West Highland Way Race and West Highland Way Triple Crown and 100 miles in 24 hours at the Glenmore 24 hour trail race to my tally of achievements.


In January 2017 I became the first person to complete the double extreme marathon event of the Namibian Sand Marathon and Genghis Khan Ice Marathon: 36 degrees to minus 32 degrees." - Audrey
